Advisor Investment Thesis

Most Rational Scenario

I strongly believe that Salesforce represents one of the most compelling value propositions in the market today—a classic fat pitch. We have a wonderful business with a wide, durable switching-cost moat, operating as the undisputed system of record for global enterprise sales. The top line has decelerated to the high single digits, but the owner economics are spectacular: a 34.7% free cash flow margin throwing off over $14 billion annually with virtually zero capital requirements. Management has abandoned empire-building, pivoting to ruthless efficiency and executing a jaw-dropping $27 billion buyback in a single quarter. Mr. Market is offering this at a 10% free cash flow yield. I expect intrinsic value to compound massively as repurchases shrink the equity base.

  • The switching-cost moat is impenetrable; enterprises will not rip out Salesforce.
  • Free cash flow margins are structurally elevated above 30%.
  • Management is aggressively retiring undervalued shares, compounding per-share value.
  • AI is an upsell opportunity to a captive audience, not a disruptive threat.
  • The $145 billion market cap is profoundly disconnected from the true cash-generating power of the enterprise.
